Terms of Service for Client Galleries

Welcome to Alex Kitten Photography! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the client galleries ("Galleries") hosted on our website. By accessing or using the Galleries, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Access to Galleries
Alex Kitten Photography provides online galleries for clients to view, download, and share their images. Access to a gallery is granted upon receipt of a unique, secure link and password, which are provided to the client after the completion of their photoshoot or project.

2. Image Ownership and Copyright
All images in the client galleries are the property of Alex Kitten Photography and are protected by copyright laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to view, download, and share the images for personal, non-commercial use only. Any commercial use, reproduction, or distribution of the images is prohibited unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

3. Usage Rights

• Personal Use: You may download and print images from your gallery for personal, non-commercial use, such as home displays, gifts, or sharing on social media, provided credit is given to Alex Kitten Photography where applicable.

• Commercial Use: Any use of the images for commercial purposes (e.g., advertising, marketing, resale) requires prior written consent from Alex Kitten Photography, and additional licensing fees may apply.

• Social Media: When sharing images on social media, we encourage tagging @alexkittenphotography to credit the photographer.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Gallery Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your gallery link and password. Sharing your gallery access with others is at your own discretion, and Alex Kitten Photography is not responsible for unauthorized access.

• Backup: We recommend clients download and store their images immediately. While we make every effort to maintain galleries, we cannot guarantee the availability of images beyond the gallery expiration date. We are not responsible for lost or damaged files.

• Image Alteration: Clients may crop or resize images for personal use, but may not alter or modify the images in ways that change their original composition (e.g., adding filters, removing elements).

5. Gallery Expiration
Client galleries are available for a period of at least a year after the delivery date. After this period, access may be revoked, and the images may be removed from the server. It is your responsibility to download and back up your images before the gallery expires.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal information, as well as any images contained in your gallery, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Images from private sessions may not be shared or publicly displayed without your explicit consent.

7. Indemnity and Liability
You agree to indemnify and hold Alex Kitten Photography harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of the galleries, including any unauthorized use or distribution of the images.

8. Modification of Terms
Alex Kitten Photography reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Galleries constitutes acceptance of those changes.
